For the Middletown Wrestling Club, wrestling success is important and on the top of our list. But right next to wrestling success is success in life. The club is working hard to make sure all wrestlers build skills and habit to help them through the rest of their life's journey. We want to create an enviroment of constant challenges to help each member be better prepared for anything. We will not judge a wrestler based on their wins and loss records, but on how they react to situations and deal with them. We want all members to understand the bigger picture when it comes to sports and help them reach their personal level of success. Today's youth are tomorrow's leaders.
The MWC will be hosting a Leadership Counsel this season to help create
CHAMPIONS OF LIFE! This counsel is made up of the Club coaches, high school mentors and 10 club members. The counsel will meet and discuss 7 habits of a happy kid as set forth by The Leader in Me. The counsel will meet every other week to discuss a new habit and explain ways to implement them into your life on a daily basis.
If you are interested in our Leadership Counsel, please register below. Once we recieve all applications, we will select 10 wrestlers to be the first counsel members. At the completion, all members will recieve a certificate of completion and we will recognize them at our awards banquet. We will encourage them to challenge their friends and family with the skills they will develope.
