MWC Grey- Novice and Intermediate: ages 7-12 with 0-2 years experience

Our Novice & Intermediate division is designed to grow the sport by allowing new wrestlers the opportunity to learn the sport and build relationships with a structured approach. We promote the proper growth and development for our Intermediate level wrestlers. This division focuses on the basic skill set and athleticism required to be able to compete. Each wrestler will have the opportunity to find their inner strength and build their work ethic as they work to be our nations future leaders.
This season will be a blend of returning Novice / Intermediate wrestlers and our Tots that are moving up to advance their skills. Our intention is to compete at local tournaments as well as compete as a team in various local and regional events.
Practice Schedule:
2x per week- Tentative schedule is Tuesday 6:00-7:00pm and Thursday 7-8:30pm
Season runs November- March
Your wrestler will be assigned to a coach and you will be contacted directly by the coach with your practice and competition schedule.
Schedules will be posted on the website as soon as they are finalized.

All MWC members are REQUIRED to purchase a USA Wrestling membership card for insurance and benefits from USA Wrestling before registering through Blue Sombrero link below. This USA Card is required to be presented at every practice with the MWC.
How to become a USA Member:
Start off by clicking the link below and create a new user account. Fill out all information and select Folkstyle and select continue. On the next screen you will be given a USA ID # (SAVE THIS NUMBER). Click continue. On the next page you will see Athlete- click on that and select add as new member. Continue after verifying the info is correct. Next you will click the "GET" button to pull up a text box, there you will type in Middletown Wrestling Club and Delaware to select our club. Continue through the process until you are complete. Print or save the Card for future reference. I assure you, it only takes 3 -5 minutes.
