Picture

The Middletown Wrestling Club (MWC) is dedicated to teaching the sport of wrestling to all youth level athletes during wrestling season. Pre and Post season, this club is open to all age groups and skill levels. Our goal on the mats is to prepare wrestlers for High school and beyond with technique, conditioning and strength training. Our overall club goal is to provide the individuals with solid core values and discipline. We are molding our future leaders for a successful future by teaching them how to become Champions of Life!

We believe success is measured by much more than wins and losses.  We measure athletes on their efforts, discipline, dedication, execution, and their will to improve.  We are dedicated to teaching the sport of wrestling correctly, effectively and diligently. Our staff is committed to improving themselves through the USA wrestling coaches’ curriculum. Each coach is a USA wrestling member and trained to provide the best learning atmosphere possible. We will provide a safe and compassionate environment to enhance the learning experience.

"As a 3 year starter as an Offensive Guard at Lafayette College (Division 1AA), I often relied on the many of the skills that I developed while wrestling.  It helped with quickness, balance and the ability to use my hands to better play my position.  I was so glad my High School football coach talked me into trying out for the wrestling team my freshman year.   Wrestling helped me be a better athlete.  And ultimately helped get a 4 year scholarship to a great school.  I continued to wrestle in college to stay in shape in the off season.  In many ways, it became my favorite sport.  There is no feeling like being out on the mat"
